I am an ethnographer working on ritual-celebrations in the Caribbean. My research focuses on popular spiritual practices throughout the Dominican Republic. These practices showcase different sociocultural ritual-acts and spaces, often overlooked, but which nonetheless contribute to collective processes of cultural formation.

Much of my work integrates audio and visual data as reference points connecting the unique properties of ritual processes and celebrations, to audio-visual documentation methods.
